Terms of Service.

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of danishakeating.com and any products, courses, content, or services offered by Dr. Danisha Keating ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site or purchasing any product, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Services Offered

We offer, among other things:

• The RESPOND™ Online Course and related digital content.
• Keynote speaking engagements, workshops, and trainings.
• Books published by Dr. Danisha Keating.
• The Hub membership: a recurring subscription giving access to a job board and a grant board matched to your own resume, the What’s My Score tool, the Application Kit and Grant Kit, and the member community.
• Editorial, informational, and event resources made available on the Site.
• Referrals to dissertation coaching services through DK Education Consulting (a separate site and service).

3. Eligibility & Account

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to purchase products or services. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Payment & Pricing

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are payable through our authorized payment processors. You authorize us to charge your selected payment method for the full price of any product or service you purchase, plus any applicable taxes. Where payment plans are offered, you authorize us to process each scheduled installment automatically.

5. No-Refund Policy (All Sales Final)

This section covers one off purchases. The Hub membership is a subscription and is governed by the section below it instead.

All sales are final. Because our courses (including RESPOND™), books, and digital products are delivered electronically and immediately upon purchase, we do not offer refunds, exchanges, or cancellations once a purchase is completed. By purchasing, you acknowledge and accept this policy. If you experience a technical issue accessing your purchase, contact info@dkeducationconsulting.com and we will make reasonable efforts to resolve it.

6. The Hub Membership

The Hub membership is a recurring subscription, and this section says exactly how it works.

• It renews on its own. A monthly membership renews every month and a yearly membership renews every year, at the price shown when you joined, charged automatically to the payment method you used, until you cancel. There is no end date you have to remember.
• You can cancel at any time. Cancel from the billing page inside The Hub, or email info@dkeducationconsulting.com and we will do it for you. There is nothing to explain and no notice period.
• Cancelling stops the next charge, not the one you already paid. You keep everything until the end of the period you have paid for.
• What closes when it ends. On that date the job board, the grant board, the What’s My Score tool, the Application Kit, the Grant Kit, and the community all close.
• What stays yours. The resume, CV, cover letters, and recordings you uploaded remain yours, and you can still sign in and download them. Nothing is deleted because a membership ended, and if you join again later everything opens back up as you left it.
• If we refund you. A full refund of a membership payment ends that access on the day the refund is made.
• If the price changes. We will tell you before a new price applies, and it would only ever take effect at your next renewal, never in the middle of a period you have paid for.

What the boards are, and what they are not. The listings on your boards come from employers’ own public postings and from public funding sources. We do not control them, we do not decide who gets hired or funded, and a listing can close or change without notice. The percentage shown next to a listing is our own estimate of how closely the wording of your resume matches the wording of that posting. It is a guide to help you improve your resume. It is not a prediction, not a score from that employer, and nothing here is a promise of a job, an interview, or a grant.

7. Speaking Engagements & Custom Services

Bookings for keynotes, workshops, trainings, and other custom services are governed by separate written agreements that address scope, fees, deposits, cancellation, travel, and intellectual property. Where no separate agreement is in place, these Terms control to the extent applicable.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, videos, audio, course materials, slide decks, frameworks, workbooks, and the RESPOND™ name and methodology — is the property of Dr. Danisha Keating or her licensors and is protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.

RESPOND™ is a trademark of Dr. Danisha Keating. You may not use the RESPOND™ name, logo, framework, curriculum, or branded materials to teach, train, certify, license, or distribute under your own brand or organization without a written license agreement.

Enrollment in a course grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access the materials for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not record, copy, share, redistribute, repackage, resell, or post the materials online without our prior written consent.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site or services for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to interfere with, disable, or compromise the Site, the course platform, or other users.
• Share account credentials with anyone outside your household or organization.
• Use any automated means to scrape, copy, or harvest content.
• Misrepresent your affiliation with Dr. Keating, RESPOND™, or any of her brands.

10. Disclaimers

All content, courses, and services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Information shared through Dr. Keating's books, courses, talks, and content is for educational and informational purposes and is not a substitute for licensed mental-health, medical, legal, or professional advice. If you or a child in your care is in crisis, contact a licensed professional or emergency services immediately.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Dr. Danisha Keating, her affiliates, contractors, or employees be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of the Site or services. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the services is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Dr. Danisha Keating from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site or services, or your violation of any third-party rights.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the services shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and the parties consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective Date" above will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted on this page; continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.
