This Privacy Policy describes how Dr. Danisha Keating ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit dkeducationconsulting.com (the "Site"), buy a course, coaching, or editing, join The Hub membership, use our free resume score tool, register for events, or otherwise interact with our services. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Account & contact details: name, email address, phone number, and, where relevant, organization name.
- Payment information: when you purchase a product or course, payment details are processed by our payment processor; we do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
- Course progress: if you enroll in RESPOND™, we collect data on your progress, completions, and certificate eligibility.
- Form submissions: details you share through speaking-request, contact, or coaching forms.
- Documents you send us: your resume, CV, cover letters, and any other file you upload. These normally contain your employment history, your education, your qualifications, and your contact details, and sometimes more than that, because a resume is whatever you choose to put on it.
- Voice recordings: if you choose to talk through your work instead of typing it, we keep the recording you send and the written transcript made from it.
- What you tell us you are looking for: the kind of work or funding you want, the state you are in, how far you will travel, whether you would move, and what you are good at.
- What you do on your boards: which listings you marked as applied to, which you hid, and what you told us happened afterwards.
- The free resume score tool: if you use the free tool on our job seeker page, we keep the email address you give us, your name if you give one, and the resume you upload, so we can show you your results and so you are not charged for the same read twice.

- Cookies and similar tracking technologies used to operate the Site and improve user experience.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Deliver the products, courses, and services you purchase or request.
- Read your resume and your answers, and score public job and grant listings against them, so your boards show you the openings that actually fit. This is the service.
- Show you, for each listing, what that employer asks for that your resume does not say in their words, and build a copy of your resume that includes the lines you tell us are true.
- Communicate with you about your account, orders, and customer-service inquiries.
- Send marketing emails about new courses, speaking events, books, the membership, and updates. If you give us your email address anywhere on this Site, including the free resume score tool, we add it to our mailing list and you may hear from us. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and one click is enough.
- Improve the Site, our content, and our offerings.
- Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:
- Service providers: the companies that run the pieces of this business for us. Today that means website and application hosting, our email platform, our transactional email sender, our payment processors, and our video calling provider. They act on our instructions and are required to protect your information.
- Artificial intelligence: to score a listing against your resume and to turn a recording into text, we send the contents of your resume, CV, or recording to an artificial intelligence provider, which processes it and sends back a result. They process it to give us that result and for nothing else. If you would rather we did not do this, do not upload a document, and tell us at info@dkeducationconsulting.com and we will delete what we already hold.
- Legal & safety: when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Dr. Keating, our users, or others.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets.
5. Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences, analyze traffic, and improve performance. You can adjust your browser settings to refuse cookies, but some Site features may not function properly without them.
6. Email Marketing
We send marketing email, and we want to be plain about when you end up on the list. You are added when you ask to be, when you buy anything from us, when you register for a webinar or an event, and when you use the free resume score tool on our job seeker page. We may send you updates about courses, books, speaking events, the membership, and resources.
Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes one click and takes effect immediately. You can also email info@dkeducationconsulting.com to be removed. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop the emails we have to send you about something you bought, such as a receipt or a change to your membership.
7. Your Rights & Choices
- Access & correction: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if inaccurate.
- Deletion: request deletion of your information, subject to legal and operational retention requirements.
- Marketing opt-out: unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

8. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Your documents are treated separately, and this is worth reading. The resume, CV, cover letters, and recordings you send us are kept for as long as you have an account with us, because they are what your boards and your Application Kit are built from. Ending a membership does not delete them: your access to the boards and the tools stops, your own documents stay where they are and stay downloadable by you, and starting the membership again picks up where you left off. If you want them gone, email info@dkeducationconsulting.com and we will delete them.
9. Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children's Privacy
Our Site and services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
11. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including DK Education Consulting and our Amazon author store. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Please review their policies separately.
